We are so lucky that Logan has continued to grow and develop without any long term effects from his prematurity! At his 5 year well child check he weighs in at 50.5 lbs and is in the 90th percentile. He is 45.5 inches tall (almost 4 foot!) and is between the 90-95th percentile. I would say he caught up to his peers!

It is unreal to me that my baby is already a year and a half! I about feel over when Dr. Brunner said that she would see us in 6 months at Easton's 2 year appointment!! He is as ornery as ever and thinks he is as big as his brother!
His absolute favorite thing in the whole world continues to be balls. From the moment he wakes up he is searching for a ball to tote around or launch across the room! He also enjoys finding large sticks to use as a bat.
While we were at his well visit I asked Dr. Brunner what the last possible moment to stop his night time bottle. She said "18 months." Boo!!! My baby is no longer a baby! He also stopped taking his morning nap at Miss "Ta-Da's." I struggled with the lack of nighttime rocking, snuggle time, sloppy kisses, and talking of "tar-tars" (guitars), so I forced him to let me rock him. It took him a couple of days but we've got our new routine down! We read 2 books, then he pushes the button for his music, turns off the light, and shuts his door. Then I ask him if he wants to go in his crib and he shakes his head and says, "naw." When I ask him if he want to rock he nods and says, "ya." Then we rock-a-bye with lots of snuggles, kisses, and songs! This makes mama happy!
Obviously you can see how shaken up he is about being in the hospital!!
Although I am sad to say good-bye to all of the baby related things I am super excited that he is growing, learning, and talking. He adds so much laughter and love to our family!

We had a great October, celebating all things Fall and Halloween! We kicked it off with the Fall Festival at our church. It was A-MAZING! We are so grateful to have found RezWest! The kids each got to pick out a pumpkin, we had dinner, the kids played games, took a hayride, went to a petting zoo, trunk-or-treated, and even watched fireworks! All of it was free for families. We were so happy to have our Burkin friends with us!
Look at these serious dudes!! Also notice how much LJ looks like his daddy! Good lookin' boys!
All the Weishaar dudes!
Cinco de Mayo baby E thought his pumpkin looked best sporting a sombrero! Ole'
On Halloween night we had the Burkins and our neighborhood crew over for our second annual pizza party. The kids were very excited!!
E is so pumped to get suited up!
The gangs all here (minus the Crigers but they joined in late night!)
Luckily Logan had a glow stick, it was the only way to keep track of him as he zoomed from house to house!
Making memories with Grandma B.!
This is the only picture I could get of them together! Logan was on a serious mission and couldn't be interrupted by his camera-crazed mama!
Our sweet family, beyond blessed!
Little man did great! He stayed up way past his bedtime, trick-or-treated like a champ, enjoyed all of the lights and sounds, and especially loved all of the lollipops "pops!"
Look at these sweet chickens! Logan at 13 months and Easton at nearly 18 months! We are blessed beyond measure to have these miracle men in our world!! Hope your Halloween was happy!
